The Custom Pet Portrait is a way to hold onto the memory of your beloved animals.  These pet portraits are handmade through the process of needle felting. Starting with the creation of a wire armature, wool roving is wrapped around the form and secured. Layer and layer of wool is added to the basic form to start building up the shape of the animal. Once its form is correct, I begin to add the individual markings that make our animals so unique. For long haired animals, the fur is added tuft by tuft and then trimmed to the appropriate length. 
All this is to say that these animals are made with time and care so that they depict your animal as perfectly as possible. 
Each completed animal will be approximately 9-11 cm in height or length.
